Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead cross‑functional projects in the North America region, focusing on sortation and distribution solutions. You will manage schedules, mitigate risks, and ensure handovers to internal and external stakeholders are timely and effective.

The role requires 75% travel domestically and flexibility to work from a corporate office. Travel, vendor coordination, and project leadership are core expectations across multiple sites in North

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial/ manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE).
• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at an intermediate level.
• Travel up to 75% nationwide; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of challenging projects with internal/external teams.
• Participate in engineering reviews and influence system design and standards.
• Set priorities, milestones and schedules with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Lead execution of systems and automated equipment designs per standards and guidelines.
• Document decisions and communicate status, risks and mitigations clearly.
• Coordinate meetings, capture actions, and drive ownership/ follow‑through.
