Job Description

As Superpower’s Operations Engineer, you'll directly enhance our customer’s experience. Partnering with our operations teams, you'll develop, deploy, and maintain software features that directly impact customer engagement with their health. We seek a customer-obsessed, data-driven, full-stack engineer motivated to build the features, tools, and automations vital to achieving Superpower's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy data observability solutions for key operational metrics to enable data-driven insights and decisions.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliable care delivery.
• Develop member communication features that directly improve member experience and operational efficiency.
• Manage and deploy APIs integrating external diagnostic and therapeutic endpoints.
• Build and maintain key Electronic Medical Records (EMR) workflows to enhance care coordination across the Superpower product.
• Develop and deploy internal tools and automations that streamline operational tasks.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions for seamless code deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement through Agile development practices and cross-team collaboration.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (one week per month) for high-priority issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong collaboration skills for effective partnership with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Engineering).
• Excellent communication skills; able to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Growth mindset with a relentless focus on improvement.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and GitHub Actions and project management software (Linear, Notion, Slack) is a plus.
• Bonus: experience health tech or healthcare, with knowledge of industry-specific challenges and regulations.
• Bonus: Comprehensive understanding of FHIR data modeling and healthcare data standards.
