Job summary

HiFyve is hiring an Operations Engineer in Middletown, OH to support daily plant operations and drive production performance. This role requires hands-on plant floor experience in a chemical setting and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot process and equipment issues, lead continuous improvement and root cause analysis, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering on reliability and capital projects.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of operations or manufacturing engineering experience in a chemical plant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• PSM experience required.
• Hands-on plant floor experience (not lab, pilot plant, or project-only).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5-10 years of operations or manufacturing engineering experience in a chemical plant.
• Required experience with Chemithon and Sulfonation/Sulfation processes.
• Hands-on plant floor experience (not lab, pilot plant, or project-only).
• PSM experience required.
• DeltaV or other DCS experience is a plus.
