The Boring Company is seeking a highly motivated Field Operations Engineer to support tunneling operations in Las Vegas through complete ownership of one or more assigned production‑critical subsystems, such as the belt/conveyor system, grout system, mining trucks, or other machine and support equipment.
This role is accountable for keeping assigned subsystems reliable, maintainable, and available for production. The Field Operations Engineer will own subsystem performance, condition, failure modes, maintenance needs, spares and consumables, procedures, reporting, and improvement opportunities while working directly in the field to troubleshoot issues, support maintenance, drive equipment improvements, and minimize downtime.
