Job summary

Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a warehouse design professional to design and plan the inner layout of the warehouse, aiming for optimized functioning and maximum space utilization.

The role involves developing layouts, product flow, and handling systems, while adopting lean concepts to streamline processes for efficient flow. You will organize activities from reception to shipments per SPS principles and measure performance to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse design/optimization experience.
• Strong CAD and SAP skills preferred.

Responsible for designing and planning the inner layout of the warehouse

Ensuring optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency & space utilization.

Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.

Adopts lean concepts to streamline processes to achieve process flow efficiency.

Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle.

Measures and analyzes warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.

Manages projects to design and optimize warehousing processes.

What qualifications will make you successful?

Bachelor's Degree required.

At least 2 years of warehouse design/optimization experience.

Proficient in computer aided design and drafting software.

Proficient Microsoft Skills and SAP.

Knowledge of Database systems (SQL,Tableau etc.) a plus.
