Job summary

Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School seeks an Executive Director of Operations Resident to learn the role and progress to the full Director of Operations by July 1, 2027.

You will oversee enrollment, PowerSchool, and all registration/family orientation events while providing administrative and operational support for daily tasks. The role emphasizes student and family engagement, records management, facilities oversight, and daily operations, with supervision of the operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Fluency in Spanish required.
• At least 5 years of professional operations experience, preferably in a NYC charter school setting.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, ATS and PowerSchool required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees enrollment and registration processes, including PowerSchool and family orientation events.
• Manages operations team and vendor relationships; ensures facilities and maintenance are aligned with school needs.
• Oversees student records, attendance tracking, and data integrity in state databases.
• Coordinates logistics for field trips, events, and communications with families and staff.
• Develops recruitment plans and works with leadership to meet enrollment targets.
• Maintains office processes, inventory, and supplies; supports annual surveys and special projects.
