Job summary

Gotion Inc. in the United States (Manteno, IL) seeks an Operations Director to lead Production Planning, Supply Chain, EHS, and Infrastructure Engineering for the Chicago manufacturing facility.

You will drive readiness, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional execution with leaders across Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, HR, and IT. The role emphasizes scalable operations, risk management, and continuous improvement in a large-scale manufacturing environment, with a US base salary and bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or related field is required.
• Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing ops experience.
• 5+ years of leadership managing managers or multiple functions.
• Strong ERP/MRP and SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and scheduling based on demand, capacity, materials and priorities.
• Develop short- and long-term production plans and manage resources.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and materials to hit targets.
• Monitor plan execution and identify delivery risks.
• Drive cross-functional effort to resolve operations constraints.
• Track KPIs: production attainment, inventory, delivery, efficiency.
• Support S&OP and capacity planning processes.
• Lead plant supply chain operations: procurement, inventory, warehousing and logistics.
• Ensure material availability with optimal inventory levels.
• Improve inventory turnover and reduce obsolete stock.
• Drive supplier performance and supply continuity.
• Identify supply chain risks and contingency plans.
• Manage domestic and international logistics activities.
• Lead continuous improvement in cost, efficiency and delivery.
