Job summary

Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE) seeks an Operations Director who will guide the organization’s administrative, financial, development, and personnel systems. You will lead strategic planning implementation and ensure inclusion and equity across operations.

You will manage financial activities, develop robust internal controls, and partner with senior leadership to support organizational growth while upholding feminist principles in Chicago and Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management and business operations with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience creating systems, databases, and policies that improve staff efficiency.
• Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office and QuickBooks; ability to learn new systems.
• Excellence in organizational management with the ability to develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial and operational systems, policies, and procedures.
• Lead organizational work in financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and financial policy matters.
• Oversee posting and allocation of revenues, grants, and expenditures to programs and cost centers.
• Generate financial statements and budgets for grant applications and reports.
• Serve as financial liaison to the Board and present critical financial matters at select meetings.
