BG Foods in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Demand Planner to develop and operate a demand and inventory plan across food categories, partnering with sales, marketing, and customer support teams.

You will generate monthly forecasts using the planning system, lead consensus meetings with Marketing and Sales, analyze forecast variances, support S&OP processes, and drive forecasting improvements and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in demand planning or inventory management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• Experience with DRP/MRP and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to perform extensive spreadsheet analysis.

## Demand PlannerApply: Parsippany, NJ: Full time: Posted Today: R4715**Ready to be part of something special?** **Join our Family!**A highly visible Supply Chain role that will actively develop and operate a demand planning and S&OP function. This is a hands-on position that is responsible for developing and executing a demand plan and inventory plan for several food categories to enable the company to meet sales and service objectives. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales and marketing, and customer support teams is an essential function of this role. Responsibilities:* Generate monthly demand forecasts utilizing the demand planning system, e.g. Dynamics.* Conduct forecast accuracy analysis ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed.* Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast.* Lead Consensus Forecast meetings with Marketing and Sales teams to review sales forecasts and all other pertinent information that may impact the forecast.* Advise sales and marketing teams of variances between forecasts, plans, and actuals.* Measure and analyze the impact of forecast accuracy on the business.* Prepare, report, and communicate forecast metrics performance to Leadership.* Support S&OP processes with data and analysis.* Improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches.* Coordinate the demand planning process for new product introductions in the supply chain.* Utilize best practice methodology for creating forecasts and recommend adjustments to forecasts based on changes in demand and market trends.* Maintain and improve documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. Experience, Skills, Education: * At least 5 years of experience managing end-of-life cycle and absolute inventory.* A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.* Demonstrated experience with DRP/MRP functionality.* Demonstrated experience in ERP.* Possess knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, and margin contributions.* Possess knowledge of demand management, forecasting processes in sales, and marketing operations.* Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.* Must have excellent communication skills.* Must have collaborative skills.* Must be able to lead and facilitate cross-functionally.* Must be able to perform extensive spreadsheet analysis.**Compensation:**Hiring Pay Range:$81,772.00 - $109,029.00*Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity.
