Job description

The Role
We're looking for a data-driven Operations Engineer to build the infrastructure, insights, and automation that power our client-facing teams. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll bridge technical and business teams, using data to drive efficiency, decision-making, and growth across Sales, CS, Product, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Market Intelligence: Build systems to collect and analyze internal data and external market trends to guide strategy.
  • Internal Analytics & Reporting: Develop pipelines and reporting that combine internal metrics with market benchmarks.
  • Strategic Operations: Design scalable solutions that improve operations and unify cross-functional teams.
  • Market Research Automation: Automate collection and alerts for industry trends, competitor updates, and market shifts.
  • Data Infrastructure & Analytics: Maintain robust data pipelines, dashboards, and predictive models for usage and revenue insights.
  • Sales & CS Enablement: Build tools and integrations to improve workflows and surface customer intelligence.
  • Process Optimization: Identify automation opportunities and streamline processes across revenue teams.
  • Customer Intelligence: Aggregate and analyze usage data to spot churn risks, upsell signals, and competitive insights.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or similar technical role
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or similar languages
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience with market intelligence tools and competitive analysis platforms
  • Understanding of CRM systems and sales tools
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Experience with web scraping and automated data collection
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Haves:

  • A background in sales operations and/or customer success
  • Experience with Hubspot development and administration
  • Knowledge of AdTech or cybersecurity industry and understanding of their respective markets
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with BI tools and data warehousing
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services

Compensation

  • Base: $80,000 - $120,000/year, dependent on location and experience
  • Eligible to participate in Company Bonus Plan
