Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics is seeking a Data Analyst, Operations in USA-Lancaster to monitor operational performance, prepare reports, and provide data-driven insights for client communications. The role requires strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of warehouse processes.

The position focuses on ensuring reports meet SLAs, supporting optimization of space, labor, and equipment, and acting as the data liaison with customers. 65k-70k base pay plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Data Analysis preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, data visualization).
• Maintains proficiency in WMS to extract and analyze operational data.
• Manages data reporting tools to provide clear, actionable insights to management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes operational data to monitor performance against KPIs and service goals.
• Prepares and presents recurring operational reports for the customer.
• Maintains deep understanding of warehouse operational flow to provide accurate status updates.
• Collaborates with the Operations team to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks or discrepancies.
• Supports the management team with data-driven insights to optimize space, labor, and equipment utilization.
• Ensures all reporting aligns with client-specific SLAs and quality requirements.
• Serves as the data-focused liaison for the customer, providing timely operational updates and reports.
• Assists in preparing for operational and business review meetings with key customers
