Mount Carmel Health System in Pickerington, OH, is seeking a Coordinator Medical Practice - Operations to plan, organize, and direct patient flow on a daily basis under leadership. The role involves coordinating office activities, implementing policies, and maintaining staffing schedules to ensure smooth patient care.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of practice experience, with preferred bachelor’s degree and demonstrated project management skills.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of practice experience required.
• Experience in leading staff preferred.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects; strong organizational skills; highly motivated and self-directed; and attentive to detail.

• Interviews, evaluates, trains and supports office staff in conjunction with the Manager.

• Implements policies, processes, and procedures via the Manager.
• Demonstrates a positive customer service attitude/behavior.
• Recommends continuous process improvement.
• Reviews reports and escalates concerns to Manager.

Description:

Position Purpose: In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Coordinator Medical Practice - Operations, under the direction of the provider, Manager, and RN Clinical Lead, plans, organizes, and directs patient flow on a daily operational basis Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization

Hours:

7:00am - 5:00pm

What You Will Do:

• Assists with patient inquiries/concerns regarding medical care, medication instructions, and prescription call-ins in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.


• Interviews, evaluates, trains and supports office staff in conjunction with the Manager.


• Creates and maintains staffing schedules.


• Coordinates activities and functions of the office to ensure a smooth patient flow.


• Implements policies, processes, and procedures via the Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Highschool diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred


• Licensure / Certification: NA


• Experience: Two (2) years of practice experience required


• Experience in leading staff preferred.


• Current working knowledge of the importance of business office and clinical care area coordination.


• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects: strong organizational skills; highly motivated and self- directed; and attentive to detail.
