Job summary

Grey Eagle Distributors in Fenton, MO is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the night shift. You will supervise the nightly truck loading, coordinate package and dry van loading for daily delivery, and ensure on-time departures. The role reports to the Operations Manager, with a Sunday–Thursday 9:30 PM–6:00 AM schedule and a salary up to $55,000 per year depending on experience. We offer competitive wages and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate night loading.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Experience with routing/accounting systems preferred.
• Ability to work Sunday–Thursday night shift and overtime as needed.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Position reports to: Operations Manager

Schedule:Sunday - Thursday 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Compensation:Up to $55,000/annually (DOE)

Primary purpose and function of position:

Ensure the night loading process goes smoothly and all trucks are loaded on time for the next days delivery.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the nightly truck loading process performed by union and non-union employees
• Coordinate loading of package and draught trucks for daily delivery
• Check for loading errors
• Ensure night loading team cleans up at the end of their shift
• Handle all administrative reports for the Operations Department
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Standard shift is Sunday – Thursday 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Some OT and vacation coverage will be required
• VIP Route Accounting System experience preferred
• 1-year administrative experience preferably in an operations environment
• Ability to lead teams
• Strong attendance record and ability to work nights and some holidays
• Strong internal and external customer orientation
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and able to work additional hours as necessary
• Highly organized with ability to manage priorities, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office to include Word and Excel
• Strong Math skills
