Job summary

The Goddard School of Aurora, CO is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee daily school operations, inventory, events, licensing compliance and community relations. You will work across classrooms and with families to maintain high standards of care and education.

You’ll support curriculum implementation of Wonder of Learning®, coordinate safety drills, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that values teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: manage day-to-day operations, answer phones, greet families, open/close school, inventory management, expense tracking.
• Assist in classrooms as needed.
• Curriculum and Program Development: support proprietary Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and growth.
• Event Planning and Family/Community Engagement: build and maintain positive relationships with families.
• Health and Safety: conduct quality inspections, safety drills, licensing compliance, emergency readiness.
