Job summary

Blu & Green is seeking an Operations Coordinator to keep day-to-day logistics moving while you work remotely from the US.

You'll work with the co-founder, manage Shopify product data, track orders, coordinate with manufacturer and warehouse, and build simple systems to improve efficiency. This part-time role offers flexible hours and room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Keep product information on our Shopify website current and accurate.
• Track packaging and production orders, and follow up with suppliers on timelines and shipments.
• Maintain our packaging component tracker (cartons, tubes, caps, inserts) so we always know what’s on hand and what needs reordering
• Coordinate schedules between our manufacturer, warehouse, and team
• Search/source packaging and production options when needed.
• Coordinate orders when appropriate
• Build and improve simple systems, spreadsheets, and checklists that make the business easier to run
• Support other operational projects as they come up

About us

Blu & Green is a clean, salon-quality hair care and fragrance brand co-founded by session stylist James Pecis. Our products are made in the US and sold online, on Amazon, and through salons and retailers. We are a small team, which means the person in this role will see how a beauty brand really runs, from packaging suppliers to the website.

The role

We’re looking for someone organized and curious to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll work directly with our co-founder and take ownership of the details that keep products moving and information accurate. This role is designed to grow with the company.

What you’ll do

• Keep product information on our Shopify website current and accurate.
• Track packaging and production orders, and follow up with suppliers on timelines and shipments.
• Maintain our packaging component tracker (cartons, tubes, caps, inserts) so we always know what’s on hand and what needs reordering

You might be a fit if you

• Are a recent graduate or finishing your degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field (or have equivalent experience)
• Love turning something messy into something organized
• Are comfortable in Google Sheets and quick to learn new tools (Shopify experience is a plus)
• Follow up without being reminded, and write clear, friendly emails
• Have an interest in beauty, sustainability, or consumer brands
