Job summary

Romark Logistics in Lancaster, TX is seeking a warehouse coordinator to manage daily workload for Zone Teams, assign shipments, and balance inbound and outbound tasks using JDA.

You will monitor progress, communicate with team leads and carriers, and ensure accuracy of BOLs and paperwork. The role operates 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities, safety training, and paths for growth within a family‑style, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily workload to Zone Teams to meet shipping and inbound deadlines.
• Distribute assignments to balance workload and forecast queue activity.
• Monitor completion of work to ensure balanced inbound/outbound shipments.
• Communicate with Team Lead to manage zone flow for inbound/outbound product.
• Check in and reschedule with returns team or welcome center; verify loads in JDA.
• Prioritize shipping/receiving orders and complete related paperwork (BOLs) in JDA.
• Audit inbound/outbound documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Review shorts or cuts and research resolutions; adjust orders accordingly.
• Coordinate with carriers or customer service to update load status.
• Balance work across zones, monitor task times, adjust priorities to maintain flow.
• Collaborate with Yard Manager to optimize movement of inbound/outbound/live loads.
• Alert Supervisors to unproductive behavior or inaccuracies and take action.
• Accept/refuse live loads based on schedule adherence.

What You’ll Do

• Assign daily workload to individual Zone Teams including meeting related priorities for shipping load ready date time and inbound time on yard.
• Distributing assignments accurately to keep the individual Zone Teams workload balanced and forecasting work in queue to remain productive and engaged.
• Monitor the completion of work across all Zone Teams to ensure shipments and inbounds are balanced.
• Communicate with Team Lead to manage zone flow for both inbound and outbound product.
• Check in reschedules with the returns team or welcome center that are brought back by carriers for processing returns or weight adjustments. Check in trucks or trailers using JDA.
• Prioritize shipping and receiving orders and processing associated paperwork (BOL's) using JDA.
• Audit Inbound and Outbound documents for completeness and compliance.
• Reprints LP’s when necessary (ASN, Global pallet LP).
• Review shorts or cuts on orders to maximize order fulfillment using JDA. If shorts or cuts are identified more research to action a resolution.
• Communicate with carriers or Customer Service Representative for load/unload status towards completion.
• Allocate and balance work to zones, monitor task times and work queue and adjust priorities inbound versus outbound as needed to maintain a consistent flow of product.
• Communicate with Yard Jockey/Manager to manage flow of inbound, outbound, and live load traffic that aligns with work orders.
• Alert Supervisors if team is showing unproductive behavior, performance, or accuracy.
• Accept/ Refuse live loads based on adherence to schedule.
• Other job duties, as assigned.

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For

• Strong fundamental knowledge of JDA Warehouse Management Systems. Create work assignment, ability to navigate various reports DDA's, assign work to doors or zones
• Knowledgeable of Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory, and Material Handling operations, methods, and best practices.
• Effective communication skills (written, oral) along with a high level of interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships to properly engage with individual teams to complete work assignments.
• Fundamental knowledge of basic PC skills and competencies with the Microsoft office suite, create reports, track information, perform basic data entry.
• Ability to monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks in inbound or outbound flows by reviewing teams progress, customer service load ready date versus live loads, and general flow within and across zones.
