Job summary

## Operations CoordinatorApply: Urbandale, IA: Full time: Posted Today: JR4800The Operations Coordinator is responsible for customer service support of financial advisors through processing of new account applications, account changes, and service requests, per representatives/client instructions. This role responds to inquiries in respect to all products offered by Brokers Financial. Also, the Operations Coordinator communicates with and assists, financial advisors with various requests, and support firm’s regulatory obligations.**Essential Job Functions**, other duties assigned* Process new account applications and client requests daily and within designated timeframes.* Communicate with Financial Advisors and/or clients through phone and/or email to resolve incomplete or “bad order” applications and/or requests and to find solutions to problems. Consult with appropriate leaders/management as needed to deal with difficult situations or exception.* Accurately enter client’s personal and suitability information into the Firm’s Books and Records system and facilitate required regulatory mailing obligations* Provide customer service to Financial Advisors and the clients through various means including written correspondence, email, phone, internet, and fax.**Experience and Education*** Financial industry experience preferred.* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1 year working directly with a broker-dealer, RIA, or insurance.* FINRA Series 6 or 7 preferred, but not required.
