Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College Operations Coordinator. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.

What You’ll Do

As an Operations Coordinator, you will work within the Office of Prevention Services and serve in an assigned county, representing Tallahassee. You will review and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice’s Central Communications Center incidents, monitor program deficiencies, and assist with program development.

  • Review and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communications Center incidents.
  • Review all CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and updates from contract providers, determining if an administrative program review is required.
  • Review provider deficiencies in Program Monitoring and Management (PMM) and make recommendations based on policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving deficiencies identified in PMM.
  • Communicate effectively with providers external to the Program, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship with the Office of Inspector General.
  • Provide technical assistance as the Office of Prevention Services liaison between the Department and providers.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, consultative services and direction for development, implementation, evaluation and expansion of programs of service in public agencies and local governments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

This position requires a flexible work schedule due to some weekends and after‑hours (evening) work.
