Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and domestic shipments across the United States. You will coordinate day-to-day shipping activities, enter data into our platform, and ensure timely delivery with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments for transportation across the US.
• Assist with day-to-day coordination, execution and tracking of domestic shipments
• Enter shipments and quotes into the operating platform
• Track and trace freight, provide ETAs and verify piece counts
• Gather proofs of deliveries and enter into the system
• Gather and enter vendor costs into shipments
• Prepare shipments for invoicing within ICAT policy timelines
• Review vendor billing discrepancies and variances
• Prepare quotations and coordinate documentation between customers and vendors
• Support ICAT CX initiative by delivering high customer satisfaction and operations proficiency
• Perform other emergent duties to support a fast-paced environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments for transportation throughout the US.
• Assist with the day-to-day coordination, execution and tracking of domestic shipments
• Enter shipments and quotes into the operating platform
• Tracking and tracing freight; providing estimated times of arrival and verifying piece counts, entering accurate notes in the system
• Gathering proof of deliveries and entering in the operating system
• Gathering and entering vendor costs into shipments
• Prepare shipments for invoicing within time frame of ICAT policy
• Assisting to review vendor billing discrepancies (variances)
• Prepare quotations and coordinate documentation between customers and vendors
• Support the ICAT CX initiative by providing a high level of customer satisfaction and operational proficiency to meet growth and profitability goals as well as providing customers with WOW experiences
• Perform other emergent duties and projects requested in support of ICAT’s fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
