Position Description

The CEIE Operations Coordinatorprovides three principal areas of administrative coordination in the platforms (i.e.,comprehensive work areas) of 1) CEIE meeting, events, and program coordination;2) growth of CEIE’s Leadership Academy, including the new self-pacededucational platform for lifelong learners; and 3) the curation of reports andanalytics for quality control growth as well as communication within theuniversity.

The position ofOperations Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and coordinates specifictasks alongside CEIE Executive Leadership for successfully operationalizing thethree above platforms. The employee will also be tasked in a concentrated CEIEeffort with current and growing university partnerships, to accentuate the SUStrategic Directions, Mission Priorities, and LIFTSU.


Essential Job Functions Include :

  • Organize the weekly CEIE Team Cadence agenda via Asana Software, including organizing post-meeting implementation.
  • Organize and participate in weekly strategic planning meetings with CEIE Executive Director and Assistant Director.0
  • Coordinate CEIE Monthly Newsletter platform and all CEIE communications and internal publicity (SU Today, Provost’s Newsletter, SU Connect) in collaboration with CEIE Assistant Director and CEIE Contract Employees.
  • Provide administrative support in collaboration with the CEIE Assistant Director for the new CIEE Leadership Academy, including new self-paced learning opportunities for lifelong learner population.
  • Provide front-line coordination of new and ongoing CEIE events and programs, including fluency and/or willingness to learn multiple platforms: Localist, SU Conference and Events, SU Event Management System, Catering, Parking, Post-Event surveys, Participant Communications, and Square.
  • Serve as a liaison with the CEIE contract employee for social media, including graphics and branding creation and distribution.
  • Prepare all quarterly analytics reports in collaboration with the CEIE Assistant Director and CEIE Contract Employees.
  • Coordinate the development of the CEIE Annual Report in collaboration with the Executive Director and the contract employee for CEIE Communications Platform.
  • Lead with cultural humility and public theological commitment as an ambassador to internal and external constituencies of the core vision, mission, purpose, and operation of CEIE-SU.
  • Other duties as assigned relevant to the position.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in communications, education or religious studies preferred.
  • Experience working in religious or spiritual communities and demonstrated interreligious fluency.
  • Familiarity or experience of the Jesuit educational mission and/or Ignatian Spirituality.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills within an operationally motivated team.
  • Significant experience in working with diverse populations, and a capacity to adapt to unique cultural, religious, community, and educational contexts.
  • Capacity and willingness for continuous skills proficiencies, including Microsoft Teams, ASANA, Campaign Monitor, Canva, Canvas, Flipsnack, Localist, WordPress, Vimeo, Zoom, and other similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, coordinate, and complete multiple tasks.

Compensation at a Glance

Salary Range: $35,000 - $41,000

Seattle University has provided a compensation range that representsits good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at thetime of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will bedetermined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selectedcandidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equityconsiderations, and available market information, and not based on acandidate’s gender or any other protected status.

Thisposition may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after successful completion ofan introductory work period of 3-6 months.
