Job summary

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Ferguson experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of Trilogie and Microsoft Excel a plus.
  • Knowledge of WMS/HighJump preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventories, conduct physical inventories, and manage day-to-day paperwork.
  • Work with vendors and Ferguson shared services to clear pricing discrepancies.
  • Facilitate customer credit memos with accuracy per company guidelines.
  • Implement quality control programs and drive operational efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee safety and maintenance of the work environment.
  • Review invoices for pricing, costing, and freight accuracy.

General areas of responsibility include providing leadership for the organization's customer-facing associates and branch functions. Positions in operations leadership are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization's branches, areas, and other geographic units and KOB groups.Job DutiesAct within the scope of established objectives and policies to accomplish assigned goals.Under the direction of the manager, maintain inventories, conduct physical inventories, maintain location appearance, and complete day-to-day paperwork.Work with vendors and Ferguson shared services division to clear vendor pricing discrepanciesFacilitate customer credit memos with accuracy based on company guidelinesWork WMS Variance and Cycle Count ReconciliationDevelop or implement quality control programs.Implements operational efficiency improvements which may include, but are not limited to, standardization of systems, quality control, safety, and customer satisfaction.Review customer invoices for pricing and costing accuracy as well as freight billing and costingOversee the facilities of the operation to provide a safe and well-maintained work environment.Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.Qualifications and Requirements1 - 3 years Ferguson experience is preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivated/goal orientedAbility to effectively multi-taskOrganization and time management skillsCommunicates wellKnowledge of Trilogie and Microsoft Excel a plusKnowledge of WMS/HighJump prefered but not requiredAbility to handle stressTeam player with good attitudeUnderstands importance of customer serviceWillingness to help out in other areas, besides operations, when neededTechnical and Professional SkillsAbility to organize and prioritize work.Ability to effectively communicate in writing.Ability to effectively communicate verbally.Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).Ability to effectively utilize postal and shipping/receiving systems.Ability to effectively utilize FEI's inventory and logistics system (Trilogie).Ability to multi-task and effectively manage through stressful situations.At Ferguson, we care for each other.
