Job summary

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking an operations conversion crew member to assist in cleaning, setup/teardown, and event prep under supervision. The role involves heavy lifting and physical exertion to meet client requirements and facility policies.

You will work with the operations team to coordinate activities, maintain equipment, and support event readiness, with opportunities for cross-training and advancement within a busy events environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required and 1+ years' experience in event facility changeovers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Maintain relationships with clients, employees, exhibitors, and patrons.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and supervise staff when needed.
• Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and care used in facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, teardown and custodial tasks as directed for events.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and event contractors.
• Outline daily/weekly work with staff and ensure completion during events.
• Submit maintenance requests for repairs and damages.
• Follow safety policies and dress standards.
• Maintain and store equipment properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Under general supervision, the Operations Staff performs work as needed to clean, maintain, set up/teardown equipment, and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Also, ensures all clients' requirements are met and facility rules, regulations, and policies are adhered to.

Under general supervision, the Operations Staff performs work as needed to clean, maintain, set up/teardown equipment, and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Also, ensures all clients' requirements are met and facility rules, regulations, and policies are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of operations supervisor and or manager to ensure that all setup activities and custodial needs are consistent with facility-wide standards for all events as needed. Making sure turnarounds and changeovers are done promptly.
• Assist in coordinating the Operations activities with other departments and event-related contractors to ensure facility readiness and smooth operation of events.
• Meet with appropriate staff to outline work that must be done for the day/week.
• Ensure all job assignments are completed during events and shifts.
• Submit maintenance request orders for repairs and damages.
• Interprets company policies to work safely and practice safety best practices.
• Follow employee dress code and grooming standards.
• Complete in-service training programs promoting cross-training; demonstrated setup, products, and safety methods and procedures.
• Ensures that all equipment is stored and maintained correctly.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required and a minimum of 1 years' experience performing building changeovers in an event facility with a demanding schedule.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and supervise staff.
• Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
• Knowledge of the operation, use, and care of equipment, material, methods, and practices used in facility operations.
