Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business operations, people operations, HR administration, office management, or related role.
• Experience coordinating with external accountants, attorneys, insurance brokers, tax professionals, and other business service providers.
• Knowledge of multi-state employment, compliance, tax, and business administration requirements.
• Understanding of HR policies, recruiting, employee relations, and performance management practices.
• Experience with ADP, QuickBooks Online, ClickUp, or similar business systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, project management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across different functional areas.
• Comfortable serving as a coordinator between internal teams and external experts.

Responsibilities

• Legal & Compliance Administration: liaise with external agencies and counsel; renew licenses; manage corporate filings; coordinate insurance renewals.
• Finance & Administration: liaise with accounting, tax and financial partners; oversee multi-state tax requirements; support budgeting and planning.
• People Operations: onboard/offboard employees; manage benefits; lead recruiting; maintain records; ensure HR policy alignment.
• Keys to Success: demonstrate 3+ years in related roles; coordinate with service providers; apply multi-state compliance; leverage HR and ops best practices.
