Job summary

Mercer Advisors in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Service Operations Associate I to support the Client Service department by handling administrative tasks and transactional processing. You will work in a centralized queue, execute money movements, and maintain accurate records to ensure a seamless client experience.

This role is designed as a stepping stone to higher Associate levels with increasing ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance responsibilities within the operations

Qualifications

• Two to Four years of job related experience
• Financial services industry experience required
• Notary designation a plus
• Strong customer service focus

Responsibilities

• Process client paperwork, forms, and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Execute money movement requests including wires, ACH transfers, and journal entries.
• Monitor and manage service requests in a centralized queue and escalate when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications in the CRM and custodial platforms.
• Serve as a liaison with custodians and third-party platforms to resolve operational issues.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors to support client service delivery.
• Identify and report operational inefficiencies and assist in SOP improvements.
