Job summary

You will manage cargo documentation, scheduling, dispatch, inventory coordination, and timekeeping, serving as a liaison between frontline teams and management to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, maintenance, workforce planning, dispatch, or timekeeping.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• TWIC card is required for employment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operational Coordination: Oversee and verify cargo movement documentation (discharge, stowing, loading).
• Coordinate with terminal, vessel, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth cargo flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in reconciliation and reporting.
• Workforce Planning, Timekeeping & Dispatch: Assist in short-term labor planning and scheduling across multiple terminals.
• Dispatch labor resources based on operational needs and priorities.
• Track labor utilization and support equitable workforce allocation.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records using HR systems and ensure timely payroll data entry.
• Generate and distribute daily reports related to labor, cargo, and inventory.
• Support compliance with safety, operational, and HR policies.
