Job summary

Gulf Stream Marine, Inc. is seeking a Clerk to coordinate and execute operational, workforce, and administrative tasks across terminal, vessel, warehouse, and maintenance environments.

You will assist with cargo documentation, labor planning, dispatch, inventory coordination, and timekeeping while liaising between frontline teams and management to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards. The role requires at least 2 years of related experience and a valid TWIC card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, maintenance, workforce planning, dispatch, or timekeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dayforce or similar enterprise systems.
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• TWIC card is required for employment; valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operational Coordination: Oversee and verify cargo movement documentation (discharge, stowing, loading).
• Provide direction and support to Clerk I and Checker levels; coordinate with terminal, vessel, and warehouse teams.
• Communicate with customers, port captains, truck lines, and receiving yards to optimize import/export operations; monitor inventory and reporting.
