Position Summary:
The Day Warehouse Coordinator will support receiving and shipping operations by assisting warehouse clerks with daily tasks. This includes checking drivers in and out, preparing outbound orders for will call, and organizing relevant documentation. The role requires a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clerks with receiving incoming orders and checking out drivers.
Prepare and coordinate orders for will call pickups.
Sort, file, and manage paperwork as directed by warehouse management.
Support daily warehouse operations with administrative and clerical tasks.
Learn and adapt to internal systems and warehouse procedures.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficient with computers and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Dependable and organized with excellent follow-through.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
Soft Skills:
Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1–5 years of experience in a clerical, administrative, or warehouse support role.
Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
