Job summary

Warren County Water District is seeking a full-time Operations Center Technician or Specialist to support water and wastewater operations. The role involves monitoring SCADA, dispatching field personnel, processing KY811 locate requests, and maintaining documentation.

The position reports to the Operations Center Supervisor and requires a valid driver’s license. Candidate experience in water/wastewater operations, familiarity with Cityworks CMMS, and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Two years’ experience in water/wastewater operation is desirable.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries or concerns regarding system operations.
• Monitor SCADA and dispatch appropriate personnel for investigations.
• Process utility locate requests from KY811 Before You Dig system.
• Prepare and submit required reports and maintain documentation.
