Job summary

KBR’s Exploration & Logistics delivers mission-critical support across defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, and space exploration missions. The Business Services Manager will lead operations, manage budgets, and optimize support services to enable growth and efficiency.

This contingent role focuses on implementing operational strategies, improving processes, and ensuring effective execution of business objectives in a dynamic contract environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field.
• 5+ years in business operations or related function.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day business operations and support functions.
• Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee departmental budgets, expense management, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes.
• Lead and support business improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop administrative and business support personnel.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to improve business performance and service quality.
