Job summary

TalentSource is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to join our client in Elkhart, IN on an onsite basis. The role focuses on supporting Global Manufacturing & Distribution operations through data collection, integration, analysis, and interpretation to drive business improvements and better operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or business analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect and validate data from Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, Quality, Finance, and more.
• Analyze operational performance to uncover trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to offer data-driven recommendations.
• Create detailed action plans with responsibilities, timelines, and metrics for success.
• Translate complex data into dashboards, reports, and presentations using Power BI.
• Automate data collection and KPI reporting to support key business processes.
• Evaluate manufacturing productivity and other performance metrics to drive efficiency.
• Optimize inventory management and support Plant Performance Reviews with detailed analyses.
• Maintain data accuracy and support master data governance initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects by tracking and analyzing KPI performance.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and analytical Operations Business Analyst to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting their Global Manufacturing & Distribution operations. The ideal candidate will employ their expertise in data collection, integration, analysis, and interpretation to provide insightful recommendations that drive business improvements and enhance operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and validate data from various departments including Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, Quality, Finance, and more.
• Analyze operational performance to uncover trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to offer data-driven recommendations.
• Create detailed action plans with clear responsibilities, timelines, and metrics for success.

• Ability to perform sedentary work as well as standing and walking on the shop floor as needed.
