Job summary

Conn Selmer, Inc. is seeking an onsite Operations Business Analyst in Elkhart, IN to support Global Manufacturing & Distribution.

You will collect, integrate, and analyze financial and operational data to identify root causes and drive improvements across Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, Inventory, S&OP, and Sales & Operations Planning. The role develops reports, dashboards, and models; partners with cross-functional teams to automate reporting and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, analytics, or related fields.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel is required.
• Power BI is required; Dynamics 365 experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, or continuous-improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Able to collect, analyze, model, and present data clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, integrate, validate, and model data from multiple functional areas and systems.
• Analyze operational performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct structured root-cause analysis and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Develop action plans with responsibilities, timelines, and success metrics.
• Translate analytical findings into dashboards, visualizations, reports, and business cases for leadership.
• Develop and automate Power BI dashboards and KPIs including forecast accuracy and inventory metrics.
• Support ongoing JD365 reporting, data validation, and process improvements.
• Analyze manufacturing productivity, labor efficiency, production variances, and P&L performance.
• Support inventory optimization and distribution/transportation performance analysis.
• Assist in Plant Performance Reviews and Executive S&OP with analyses and presentation materials.
