Job summary

The Well, a growing independent RIA in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks a Director of Operations to build the operations function from the ground up, establishing rhythms, standards, documentation, and a scalable team structure.

You will lead a client-service and operations team with real decision-making authority from day one, partner with firm leadership on a CRM transition and firm-wide process improvements, and chart a clear path to COO as the firm scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations leadership within wealth management or RIAs.
• Total 10+ years in RIA, wealth management, or broker-dealer environments.

Responsibilities

• Build the operations function from the ground up with rhythms, standards, and documentation.
• Lead a client-service and operations team with day-one decision-making authority.
• Partner with firm leadership on a CRM transition and firm-wide process improvements.
• Grow into COO by scaling the operation as the firm grows.
