Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT Operations professional to support enterprise batch processing, workload automation, and job scheduling across production and test environments. You will configure, monitor, and maintain batch jobs, calendars, and triggers to align with SLAs, while coordinating with various teams on releases and incidents.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT operations, hands-on Stonebranch experience, and strong UNIX/Linux and Windows operations knowledge. U.S.

Qualifications

3+ years IT operations/production support in a complex enterprise environment.
Hands-on with Stonebranch or a comparable workload automation platform.
Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows production operations and related tools.
Ability to support incident, change and release processes and maintain runbooks.

Responsibilities

Support batch processing, workload automation, job scheduling, monitoring, and execution across production and test environments.
Configure, schedule, maintain, and support batch jobs, workflows, calendars, triggers, dependencies, and execution windows.
Monitor workflows, alerts, file transfers, and system health; resolve job failures and performance issues.
Assist with production releases and testing of new workflows and configuration changes.
Execute incident responses including communications, escalation, restart, recovery, and remediation.
Create and update runbooks, SOPs, naming conventions, and workflow documentation.
Track processing trends and SLA performance; document incidents and support audit requests.
Ensure compliance with security policies, controls, and change management processes.
