Neighborhood House Charter School (NHCS) is seeking an Operations Associate for the Centre St. campus. The role supports daily school operations, logistics, and scheduling, enabling students and staff to focus on teaching and learning.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree (or pursuing one) with Bachelor’s preferred, at least one year of experience with children, and a collaborative approach to school culture. 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., 10-month position, salary $49,032–$60,314.

Why NHCS? Neighborhood House Charter School (NHCS) is a tuition-free open enrollment charter school for grades K1-12 in Dorchester that is a public alternative to traditional district schools. We serve over 800 students across two campuses predominantly from the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan. We believe in the social emotional well-being of our students and know that a well-coached and supported educator is instrumental in helping our scholars both academically and in their SEL growth. What is the Operations Associate role?

The Operations Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily school operations. As a member of the Operations Team, this position supports the implementation of operational plans, manages day-to-day logistics, coordinates schedules, and provides flexible support wherever needed. The Operations Associate is a solutions-oriented team member who helps keep school operations running efficiently, allowing students and staff to focus on teaching and learning.

This position is at our Centre St. campus and hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. This position is a 10-month position. The salary ranges from $49,032 to$60,314, with final placement determined by experience and qualifications.

• You will cover assigned duties (e.g., hallway, dining hall, recess) to support daily school operations.
• You have at least one year experience working with children in a child care, educational or camp setting; tutoring & coaching experience is acceptable
