Job description

Gopuff is looking for Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play an essential role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and working with partner drivers.

Customers turn to Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are assembling a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers to help reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn’t hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers
• Receive and unpack pallets from vendors, ensure inventory matches purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Clean and organize the sales floor and facility
• Manage waste and spoilage, following FIFO practices
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and organized
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and equipment to move products
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work in freezer locations periodically
• Walk several flights of steps during shifts

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred, not required)
• Flexibility to work peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• Basic knowledge of web-based software (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
