Gopuff Operations Associate Job Description

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs are essential to our operations, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products both within our site and the kitchen (if applicable), and collaborating with partner drivers.

Customers rely on Gopuff for their daily essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks!

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for customer dispatch
• Receive and unpack pallets from vendors, ensure inventory matches purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and facility
• Manage waste and spoilage following FIFO practices
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products
• Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations during shifts
• Walk several flights of stairs as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
