Job summary

Roundtable in Paris seeks a hands-on Operations professional to act as the pivot where Sales, Legal, clients and investors converge, guiding deals from start to close under tight timelines.

You will design and extend AI-native workflows, automate repetitive steps, and support high-stakes onboarding for founders and fund managers, while maintaining meticulous documentation and multi-stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in operations or client-facing roles.
• Experience in fintech, legal tech, or VC is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; additional European language a bonus.

Job description

This is the pivot role at the center of Roundtable's engine. Every deal we run passes through Operations - you’re the point where Sales, Legal, clients, investors, banks and notaries converge, and where a deal actually gets executed. When Ops runs cleanly, the whole machine moves fast; when it doesn't, everyone feels it. That's the leverage - and the responsibility - of this seat.

But we're not hiring pairs of hands. We're hiring people who execute today and help building the system that executes tomorrow. You'll run live deals and help designing the automations, AI agents and internal tooling that make the next hundred deals faster, cleaner and less manual - including your own work. Roundtable's Ops team already runs on an in-house suite of AI agents and skills; you'll use it, break it, and extend it.

Your mission revolves around three pillars:

Be the pivot - orchestrate execution

You are the connective tissue of every operation:

• Act as a Project Owner and orchestrate the full operational lifecycle of investment vehicles : legal incorporation, coordination with banks, investor KYC and compliance checks, closings etc…
• Sit at the crossroads of Sales, Legal and clients - unblock, sequence and drive each deal to close under tight timelines.
• Be the person who sees the whole board: anticipate what breaks next, and keep multiple deals and stakeholders moving in parallel.

Build - work smarter, not just harder

We want AI-native operators who treat "this is tedious" as a problem to solve, not a task to endure:

• Surface issues efficiently and Identify repetitive or manual work to replace it with automation, AI agents, or better process.
• Use AI tools fluently in your daily execution - drafting, checking, summarizing, reconciling - and push the limits of what they can take off your plate.
• Contribute to and extend our internal AI/ops tooling so the whole team compounds on what you build. Impact here isn't measured only in deals closed, but in the leverage you create for everyone.

Guide clients - high-stakes relationships

• You'll assist and advise clients (from founders to investors) across the entire journey:
• Handle complex enquiries for demanding audiences, with a strong command of administrative matters and a working knowledge of accounting and legal issues.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and vehicle creation for our customers (start-up founders and fund managers), and support their investment-related questions.
• Interact with our customers’ own investors on their questions.

It's a dynamic, high-impact role where you'll work directly with top-tier European founders and investors from 60+ nationalities - including several billionaires.

Experience: 2-4 years with a proven track record in operations or client-facing roles, ideally in fintech, legal tech, or VC.AI-native & Builder's instinct: AI tools are already part of how you work. You reach for them by default, and you're excited to build agents and automations - not just consume them. You don't need to be an engineer, but you're not afraid to get hands-on.Autonomous & adaptable: you thrive in high-responsibility environments, take ownership, and get things done without waiting for direction.Detail-oriented: meticulous with documents, processes and complex operational.Customer & team-oriented: you love solving problems and building trust.Languages: Fluent in French and English; any additional European language is a plus.
