Job summary

Berger Moving & Storage is seeking an Operations Associate to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The role acts as the liaison between clients and Berger operations, ensuring accurate orders, timely shipping, and clear communication throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred), at least one year in logistics or a similar role, and strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or logistics background.
• Must be organized, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong geographical skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and maintain orders involving email, scanning materials, and billing documentation;
• Process shipping documents by verifying destination, route, rate, and delivery time;
• Maintain customer data and orders in computer systems;
• Communicate with customers regarding availability, shipment dates and method, producing tracking data, and current status;
• Complete daily and weekly invoices, entries, schedules, work orders, spreadsheets, and shipping documentation;
• Maintain, evaluate, and communicate status with appropriate parties;
• Other duties as assigned by management.
