We are looking for a smart, ambitious Operations Associate to help support the explosive growth in Evereden's supply chain and logistics operations. This role requires a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in an extremely fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Senior Director of Production.
Compensation: $65,000-70,000/year
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end domestic and international shipment execution – scheduling, tracking, and coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs (including cross-functional coordination between China and US teams) to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
- Prepare and manage import/export documentation, supporting customs compliance and efficient movement of shipments through the transportation process.
- Proactively monitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues – maintaining real-time visibility, escalating delays, and communicating updates to cross-functional stakeholders to minimize disruption.
- Implement and maintain logistics SOPs, shipment records, and trackers, identifying opportunities to standardize and improve execution across the supply chain.
- Support the Duty Drawback Program by managing import/export data, maintaining compliance documentation, and tracking eligible duty recovery claims.
- Review carrier rate quotes, negotiate shipment costs, and review and approve shipment invoices to secure favorable pricing and ensure billing accuracy.
- Track and categorize logistics costs and compile and reconcile month-end spend by category.
What You'll Bring
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years of experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing, supply chain, CPG, or beauty
- Working knowledge of import/export documentation, customs compliance, freight forwarding, and domestic shipping coordination
- Familiarity with the duty drawback program is a plus
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g. Fulfil) a plus
- Familiarity with HTS classification and tariff codes a plus
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, with the ability to identify data inconsistencies and anomalies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate challenges, and drive results
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
