The operations associate is the main link between the company, advisors, their clients and the custodian partners. The daily work is keeping paperwork moving with custodians, resolving discrepancies, watching margin requirements, opening new client accounts and answering operational questions. The role also covers compliance with internal policy and financial rules, and finding ways to streamline and automate the workflow.

Pay in the original posting: $65,000 to $80,000 a year base (about $5,420 to $6,670 a month).

I'd keep one tracker for every account in progress: documents received, what each custodian still needs, transfer status and the next date, so nothing waits on an email thread. Each morning the team would get the list of discrepancies and margin items that need action that day, with the account and the amount.
