Piper Companies is hiring an Operations Associate for a modern technology driven life insurance and annuity company providing retirement and reinsurance services located in Durham, North Carolina. The Operations Associate will work closely with and support the operations team and help to maintain operational excellence. The Operations Associate position is a full-time onsite position with a hybrid schedule working in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9am – 6pm in Durham, North Carolina.

Responsibilities of the Operations Associate:

• Provide personalized support to clients across multiple communication channels ensuring a positive and seamless customer service.
• Manage and complete policy service requests while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and attention to deal.
• Education of clients on insurance products, contract benefits, and online account resources to increase client engagement and satisfaction.
• Communication with cross-functional teams to solve problems, drive client retention, and support continuous service improvements.

Requirements of the Operations Associate:

• Bachelors degree
• 0- 2 years of relevant experience through work or internship.
• Possession of intermediate computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to pass a call center simulation test

Compensation for the Operations Associate:

• $20/hr - $23/hr dependent upon experience.
