Job summary

Role Description The Operations Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at the Sephora location in Richmond, VA. This role supports daily store operations, including receiving and processing shipments, organizing and replenishing inventory, and maintaining back-of-house and sales floor standards. The Operations Associate helps ensure accurate stock levels, executes pricing and signage updates, and supports merchandise moves to optimize product visibility and accessibility. The role partners closely with store leadership and beauty advisors to provide a smooth client experience, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and follow operational procedures and company policies. The Operations Associate may also assist with basic client inquiries, supporting a welcoming and efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong operations skills, including inventory handling, stock replenishment, and adherence to store processes.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage respectfully with clients.
• Solid analytical skills to follow procedures, handle basic data or inventory checks, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to support a positive, inclusive, and helpful in-store experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, VA, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
• Prior retail or operations experience is beneficial; interest in beauty and Sephora’s products is a plus.
• Ability to lift, move, and stock merchandise and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
