Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking an Operations Associate in Reading, PA to support daily material handling in a retail branch. You will help manage receiving, stocking, and presentation aligned with sales, merchandising, and inventory goals.

Key tasks include efficient receiving and put-away, maintaining neat restocking practices, and coordinating with Merchandising, Inventory, and Product Lifecycle teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth location operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
• Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
• Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

The Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Product Lifecycle Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.
