Staffmark Group in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring for an Operations Associate to pick, pack, and prepare orders in a fast-paced warehouse. Day shift with hours varying by department.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, and pack books for customer orders to ensure accurate shipments.
• Inspect books for damage and verify order details and quantities.
• Use safe packing methods for shipping in boxes and packaging.
• Move packed orders to conveyor for shrink wrapping and final shipping prep.
• Set up sorting stations, scan labels, and place items in correct locations.
• Organize carts and support fast order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.

Job Duties

• Pick, check, and pack books for customer orders to make sure every shipment is accurate and complete.
• Inspect books for damage and verify order details, including order numbers and book quantities.
• Use safe and efficient packing methods to prepare books for shipping in boxes, flats, and cardboard packaging.
• Move packed orders to the conveyor system for shrink wrapping and final shipping preparation.
• Set up sorting stations, scan books and labels, and place products in the correct storage or pick locations.
• Organize and move completed book carts to staging areas to support fast order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Entry level (Warehouse experience preferred)
• Able to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs.
• Closed-toe shoes
• Speak and understand English
