Job summary

Think Bioscience in Boulder, CO is seeking an Operations Associate to support lab, office, and financial operations. This role reports to the Operations Director and assists with procure-to-pay processes, inventory, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field; 2+ years in lab operations or inventory management.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing process end-to-end: submit and review purchase requests, purchase lab supplies, receive deliveries, and confirm receipt.
• Assist in invoice collection, processing, and payment.
• Manage laboratory inventory and stock levels to increase efficiency of research operations.
• Assist technical team with sourcing and price scouting for chemicals and small equipment.
• Maintain lab equipment and infrastructure by tracking service, calibration, recertification, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety committee guidelines, including hazardous waste and chemical hygiene oversight.
• Proactively advocate for improved lab safety, cleanliness and organization.
• Manage document workflows, including signature routing and recordkeeping.

• Ability to reach overhead, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
