Obsolete Site at White Sands, NM seeks an individual to manage daily facility operations, guest service, and point-of-sale responsibilities. The role supports kitchen tasks, events, and customer orders while ensuring satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends and special events, with at least 1 year of experience in a food and beverage setting and compliance with pre-employment checks. This is a full-time NAF-related opportunity.

  • Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and special events as needed.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working within a food and beverage establishment.

Requirements

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following
  • Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
  • Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
  • Skill in providing customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Best Qualified":
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working within a food and beverage establishment.

Applicants that meet the "Best Qualified" criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the best qualified list.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
