Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following company policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices.
• Maintain effective promotional displays and manage seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandising to maximize sales.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain checkout area for impulse sales and ensure product replenishment.
• Assist with scheduling and other managerial tasks as delegated.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
