Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handle opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with merchandise receipt, return, and damaged goods processing.
• Ensure proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring compliance with cash handling practices.
• Coordinate signage and displays to enhance promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in scheduling, supplies management, and expense control.
• Maintain checkout area and ensure product replenishment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
