Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on the front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keeping the store, stockroom, and sales floor to company standards, including recovery.
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Overseeing cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling practices.
• Managing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with scheduling, supplies, and expense control.
• Maintaining checkout area merchandising to maximize impulse sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
