Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
  3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
  5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff.
  6. Maintaining store standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
  7. Assuming supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  8. Processing directives and store communications.
  9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
  10. Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
  11. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
  12. Overseeing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
  13. Managing store supplies and expenses.
  14. Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
  15. Refilling coolers and display racks daily.

Minimum requirements:

  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
